Compliance reports

The compliance report shows your farm’s nitrogen balance — how much nitrogen you applied versus how much your crops are estimated to have used. A nitrogen balance is required by the EU Nitrates Directive and enforced differently in each Nordic country.

Freyr calculates your balance from the field events, livestock, and manure data you have entered, using nitrogen coefficients as we have encoded them from national guidance. Treat the figures as guidance to review, not as a certification or guarantee — check them against your national authority’s current guidance before submitting. Where your applied nitrogen is above your country’s reference value, the report highlights which fields are over and by how much, so you can look into them.
